EOG is a ~$70B USD upstream oil and gas company based in Houston, TX, USA and we are evaluating opportunities to invest in Chile. For calendar year 2023 EOG will produce ~ 1 MMBOED net and invest ~$6.5B USD to drill and complete over 550 horizontal wells across multiple unconventional tight rock plays in the US. We drill and complete more unconventional horizontal multistage frac wells than any company in the world, and we are the global leader in tight rock horizontal exploration and operations technology. Additionally, we have operated in Argentina, China, Canada, Oman, Trinidad, UK and Australia and we are looking for new opportunities to explore across the globe. In this effort, we have made contact with ENAP to evaluate the tight right horizontal potential of the Magallanes Basin in southern Chile. We would also Iike to meet with the Energy Ministry to discuss opportunities to acquire acreage for oil and gas exploration. Accordingly, I would like to schedule an introductory meeting with the Ministry in Santiago to discuss how EOG may utilize its best-in-class exploration and operations expertise to partner with ENAP and the Energy Ministry in the development of the unconventional resource potential of the Magallanes Basin.
